What a great stop! We were headed north from spring break and wanted something easy and delicious we love a good food truck so stopped at Wayne’s head and we were not disappointed!! Short wait time AMAZING food and AMAZING service! Fries were seasoned well and the perfect amount of crispy. The burgers were some of the best ones we’ve ever had and the chicken sandwich was phenomenal. We were stuffed and the guy working there talked us into cheesecake (was not hard to talk us into it) so good!! 10/10 would go back!
Probably the best chicken sandwich I’ve had in Florida. And only $5? Wow. Highly recommend for anyone heading to/from the airport. Takes about 15mins, but great food takes patience. Looking forward to trying this again in the near future!

We are always looking for little hometown places to eat. While traveling back home to central Florida we found Wayne Heads. My husband got the fish sandwich that had enough fish for 2 sandwiches! I am not kidding, a whole fish filet that was sticking out if the bum on both sides! I got the cheeseburger and fries which was equally delicious. All was cooked to order and piping hot. There is only outside seating but we didn't mind. Have to try this place out!
I am so glad I was recommended to go here!! I had the wings and man they were so good!! Crunchy as hell and that sauce was on point! Can’t wait to try some more!

Listen I don't even like wings like that especially sauced but my daughter ordered sweet and hot flavor and I tried one and omg it was so good. The food is cooked to order so be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes if not busy and 30+ mins if they are busy. They do give you a buzzard so feel free to sit in your car if you want. Also, a big bonus is the prices are great. You won't be disappointed.
This is an amazing roadside kitchen in a gas station lot. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
Little cold outside to sit this time of year. But for a grab and go you can’t beat this place. Convenient location, quick service, good prices, and great tasting food.
Wayne Heads Southern is a carry out restaurant located adjacent to the Texaco gas station off of NE 16th Ave in Gainesvillle. There is limited off street parking but most parking is located in the gas station parking lot. The majority of the menu items are fried but the flavor is very good. I ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and the meal was made to order, fresh and hot. Very good flavor and portion size was good for the price. Be prepared to wait because all orders are made fresh but it's worth the wait. They have a seating area if you want to eat on-site but it only has a seating capacity of 10. If you want some quick soul food that tastes good, this is your place.
